Full time Waking-night Carer

Hello,
We are looking for a kind and sensitive waking night carer to help us care for our daughter, who has profound physical and cognitive disabilities and requires round the clock care. She lives at home with us, in a relaxed and friendly household in Hove.
This is a permanent full-time position: Tuesday to Saturday nights. You will be assisting another carer and so support will be available.
Our daughter is often awake through the night and needs attention and gentle reassurance. If she doesn’t settle, she may require hoisting out of bed, to be pushed up and down in her wheelchair, which calms her.
If she sleeps, she requires monitoring and repositioning through the night, so this is not a sleeping night appointment.
The salary is paid through PAYE, with pension contributions. The hours are 11pm – 8am. Saturday and Sunday nights are paid at £13.50 per hour, and weekday nights are £12.50 per hour.
We are looking for a carer with an enhanced DBS check and all three Covid vaccinations, as our daughter is very vulnerable. PPE equipment will be provided and help and support will always be available.
If this is a position you might be interested in, we look forward to hearing from you.
