New care team needed for Nonbinary person in their early 30s with Dynamic Disabilities
We are looking to build a new team of Personal Assistants, supporting a disabled individual in their 30s living independently in their own home. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, reliable, organised, compassionate & confident. The job role involves both taking direction well & working to own initiative when needed. Please note there is a cat, who is very friendly!
Duties include but are not limited to;
Personal Care
Support with cooking, meal planning & shopping
Housework
Accompanying to appointments & taking thorough notes
Supporting to access the community
Making detailed notes of each shift
The ideal candidate will be kind, open minded & understanding & non judgemental, with knowledge, understanding & acceptance of, or eagerness to learn about;

Ableism & its effects
Driving licence preferred but non essential, as they are able to drive their own car most of the time, but may ask PAs to drive when they feel unable to. The individual you will be supporting has capacity & manages their own care team, where you will be reporting directly to them, with payroll managed by Possibility People.
