Personal Assistant with Admin & Advocacy Skills Required
A bit about me: I have MS and other health issues that cause fatigue, restricted mobility, and pain. I live in a disabled-friendly flat near Preston Park.
What I need most is someone who can help me stay organised, keep on top of my appointments, and assist with admin. My MS also brings memory issues, so I need someone who can assist me in staying on track and making sure nothing gets missed.
What You’ll Be Doing:
-Helping with tasks such as laundry, shopping, meal preparation, and attending appointments.
-Coordinating and organising medical appointments, ensuring everything stays up-to-date.
-Advocating with healthcare providers, asking the right questions, and taking notes.
-Helping me stay on top of important emails, letters, and appointments.
-Supporting me with memory challenges, ensuring nothing gets missed and helping me stay organised.
-Taking initiative, using common sense, and being proactive when things need attention.
-Supporting a small team of Personal Assistants, ensuring tasks are completed and things stay on track, with a focus on making sure nothing gets left behind, we're using an app to manage and coordinate everything.
About You:
- Reliable, trustworthy, and have a keen eye for detail.
- Confident working independently, staying focused and motivated.
- Experience in admin, ideally in healthcare or something similar.
- Super organised, practical, and able to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- A problem-solver, quick to think on your feet.
- A positive attitude and a good sense of humour, as that’s how I approach life despite the challenges.
- A full driver’s licence and reliable car (mileage expenses covered) are essential.
If you’re the type of person who’s practical, enjoys taking charge, and is great at organising, I’d love to hear from you.
I’ve built strong, lasting relationships with my past Personal Assistants, and I’m looking forward to finding someone who will be a great fit for the team!
