About

The Personal Assistant (PA) Noticeboard is an exciting project that lists PAs looking for work and disabled or older people looking for support in Brighton & Hove.

What is a PA?

A PA is someone who supports disabled or older people to live their lives more fully and independently.

How Does it Work?

If you are a PA looking for work, please register on the site and fill in the application form. You can also look at the PA vacancies listed on the site and apply directly to the employer.

Please note: all positions advertised are still vacant. If a position has been showing for a while it means that a suitable candidate has not yet been found and applicants are still required, so please do go ahead and apply for any position you are interested in.

If you are a disabled or older person looking for support from a PA, please register on the site and fill in the application form to advertise your vacancy. We make a small charge for employers but this enables you to look at the list of available PAs and contact them directly, as well as advertise your job.

If Iā€™m interested, what do I do next?

Please see the How to Apply section.

Please note, the PA Noticeboard is for information purposes to help PAs find work and to help employers find PAs more easily. We do not recommend anyone nor have we vetted the applicants. We advise employers to carry out the appropriate DBS checks in the normal way. We also advise that PAs ensure they have an agreed Employment Contract, with appropriate Terms and Conditions.
