Animal loving teenmneeds support and companionship

Our 14 year old daughter has been in autistic burnout since Christmas. She has a number of comorbid MH conditions but these don't define her. She is lively, creative, intelligent, kind and funny. Due to a number of factors, she is largely confined to her room - although we are working on this! She suffers from extreme anxiety with SH tendencies and therefore cannot be left alone.

We are looking for someone with an understanding of neuro divergence, and the impact it can have, who is able to give her companionship. There are times when she simply needs to rest, and will likely be on her phone with head phones on, and other times when she'll enjoy a chat, or Lego, or playing cards. We need someone who can adapt to where she is in each moment, give her the stimulation she needs with interaction but also respect her need to rest and allow her to do so.

On a practical front, we'd like someone who can help keep her room tidy and is willing to interact with her 3 (very friendly) pet rats. We will also want the cage cleaning a couple of times a week.

Myself and my husband run our own business so are flexible with timings. We are looking for cover 3 - 4 days a week, for a number of hours each day, but the right person is more important to us than specific times (although once agreed we will need to keep the hrs fairly consistent as she struggles with change). We'd be happy to consider splitting the role if that works better.

We have a friendly, but not very brave, dog.
