Cooking & PA work for LGBTQ person
Part time PA work available! I'm a chronically ill, neurodivergent 36 year old with ME/CFS, POTS, chronic pain and some anxiety/mental health issues. I need regular assistance to live my life and this includes help with food prep, picking things up from town, organisation and cleaning
Cooking is a core part of the job so cooking skills are particularly sought after as are good timekeeping and organisational skills!
Job specification:
- Primarily food prep/cooking plus other housework for chronically ill LGBTQ+ person
- 1-2 days per week likely Wednesday/Thursday
- 4 or 5 hour shifts: ideally something like 11am-3/4pm
- In Brighton (near Coombe Road)
- £13.50/hr + statutory holiday and sick pay (employed via Possability People)
- Driving licence sought after but not necessary
- Ideally looking for someone who could commit for 12+ months but shorter term also considered
More about me & the role:
My health and energy levels are variable from day to day. I am queer and trans so lgbtq+ applicants very much welcomed. I also eat meat and would need you to be comfortable cooking meat, fish and eggs and preparing food which meets the needs of my intolerances (gluten and dairy free). I'm into drawing, crafts, feminist/queer/left politics, sci fi, tv and films, cooking, gardening and plants.
