Essential support for a wonderful lady living with Multiple Sclerosis

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Assistant to provide essential support to a wonderful lady living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in her own home. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on someone's life and assist them in maintaining their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation A valid driver's license is preferred to help with transportation to medical appointments and other errands.

Advocacy: Accompany the individual to medical appointments, ensuring that her needs are met and advocating on her behalf as necessary.

Administrative Support: Assist with writing emails, general administrative tasks, and diary management to help keep her life organised and efficient.

Daily Tasks: Help with day-to-day activities, such as meal preparation and other tasks that contribute to her comfort and well-being.

Wellness Support: Collaborate with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to support the individual's wellness and mobility. Assist in coordinating and participating in prescribed exercises and therapies to ensure her physical health and well-being.

This responsibility showcases the comprehensive care and support that the Personal Assistant will provide, reinforcing the commitment to the individual's overall health and independence.

Requirements:
- Compassion and empathy.
- Good-humored and friendly personality.
- Valid driver's license and own car (preferred).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the individual's specific needs, with little prompting or instruction.
