Overnight sleeping support worker for young adult with learning disabilities
About the young person: My daughter, aged 23, who has severe learning disabilities and autism, is a friendly and happy young lady. She loves music, walking in nature, food and trips out in the car. Her main dislikes are when things are too chaotic or noisy, so she requires a support worker who can also remain calm and organised. She will require assistance with all her personal care needs.
Overview of the role: I am looking for a permanent support worker to do some sleeping overnights on Saturdays or Sundays (10pm-7am) . The right candidate will be kind, considerate, compassionate, patient and reliable. Tasks may include personal care, giving reassurance and helping my daughter back to bed. Experience is preferred. Full training will be given to the right candidate.
