Personal Assistant – £15/hr - 4 hours a week

**Car/driver required (not needed every week)** Petrol/Parking and all entrance fees covered

Hours: 4 hours per week - hours to be agreed

**Pay: £15 per hour - if registered as self employed
**Expenses:** Petrol and parking paid when the car is used for work tasks

Role overview

This role provides practical, task-focused support to enable an independent adult to manage household tasks and essential errands during periods of fluctuating energy and cognitive capacity.

The role is not companionship or emotional support.
Support is delivered through completing agreed tasks independently and without close supervision.

Typical tasks

Tasks vary week to week and you will use your initiative to do things from an agreed task list. They may include:

Home & practical support

* Decluttering and light cleaning
* Recycling and emptying bins
* Laundry
* Collecting prescriptions
* Food shopping (primarily ALDI), including checking food supplies
* Meal preparation following a medical ketogenic diet
(clear instructions provided)
* Occasional support with organising paperwork or appointments

Access & transport (some weeks)

* Driving to local shops, appointments, or outdoor locations, or community access to events, work and volunteering
* Completing errands independently on my behalf (e.g. ALDI shopping)

A car is essential, but it will not be required every week. Petrol, parking, and any entrance fees will be covered for work-related tasks.

Working style

* Comfortable working independently from a task list
* Able to complete tasks without supervision
* Aware that communication needs may vary due to fluctuating energy levels and I may need to rest during the shift
* Able to follow instructions with initiative

Essential requirements

* Own car and full UK driving licence
* Willing to follow and ask questions about a medical ketogenic diet if unsure - its easier than it sounds! Its mainly to have the right ingredients in stock
* Due to the nature of the working environment and my involvement in women-only spaces, this role is open to women and transgender women only
