Seeking self employed PA driver and handyperson, Brunswick, Hove

Female with complex, multiple health issues looking for a PA driver with their own vehicle to assist in getting out and about. I have varied interests and I am looking for someone with a good sense of humour with an appetite for adventure. Apart from driving me to social activities I also require assistance in getting to and from medical appointments.

I am looking for someone who is practically minded to do odd jobs, to help maintain outside spaces, light gardening and DIY projects; who knows their way around a computer and has good admin and communication skills. Other tasks include: domestic chores such as preparing food, shopping, banking/bills, decluttering and organising. At the moment decluttering and organising are my main priorities.

Qualities that are important to this post are; being conscientious, efficient and a focussed worker, who can take the initiative and work happily on their own; can pick up things quickly and needs little prompting (due to CFS/ME I find persistent repeating of instructions both physically and mentally exhausting). Due to the fluctuating nature of my health my needs vary on a daily basis, therefore the person applying must be flexible. I have a 3-4 hour morning shift on offer initially, finishing no later than 1pm. After a trial period another 3-4 hour shift on a mutually agreed morning will be added. More hours are available as and when and some shifts (subject to mutual agreement) may well exceed the 3-4 hours and will be dependent on the length of the social activity. All fuel costs will be reimbursed for the driving aspect of the job; I do not cover travel expenses to my home (main place of work).

I am creative with a passion for nature: I love yoga and I have training in kinesiology and working / playing with animals using oils and plant based materials allowing the animals to self select and self medicate.
