Self-employed female PA required in Brunswick, Hove

PA required for a female with complex, multiple health issues.

I am looking for a female PA to help with day to day tasks such as: housework, preparing and cooking food, the odd shop, maintaining outside space (small patio areas), accompanying me to appointments, going out when able, some admin / computer work and sometimes a small amount of personal care. At the moment decluttering and organising are my main priorities.

Qualities that are important to me are: being conscientious, efficient and a focused worker, who can take the initiative and work happily on their own; can pick up things quickly and needs little prompting (due to CFS/ME I find persistent repeating of instructions both physically and mentally exhausting). Good organisational skills are essential; as is a person centred approach.

Ideally I am looking for someone who drives and has their own vehicle, but not a necessity. Due to the fluctuating nature of my health, my needs vary on a daily basis, so being flexible with a good sense of humour is desirable; this position is not suitable for anyone looking for casual or short-term work. I have a 3-4 hour morning shift on offer initially, finishing no later than 1pm. After a trial period another 3-4 hour shift on a mutually agreed morning will be added. At the moment my morning availability is Tuesday and Thursday with Friday as a possibility but not every week. More hours are available as and when.

I have a snake (contained in a vivarium), so the person applying must feel at ease with this.

I am creative with a passion for nature and I actively seek ways to personally evolve and heal. Some of my interests are: yoga, kinesiology and offering plant materials to animals giving them the choice to self select for their wellbeing (rescue mostly).
