Autistic woman seeking ad-hoc bank PA for advocacy in Hove
I am a 39 year old woman living in a flat in Hove (right by Hove town hall) with one very sweet indoor-only elderly cat. I have autism and mental health needs and value someone very empathetic, punctual and reliable so we can show mutual respect for each other's time. I love line dancing, singing in a choir and photography and I work part time in a library.
I am only looking for someone who is registered self employed and flexibly available for adhoc support. This would suit someone based very close by who could easily attend flexibly. I'm based by Hove town hall, 10 mins from Hove Station and on lots of bus routes.
This is an adhoc, flexible work schedule only. Shifts could be anytime when needed from 9-8pm but will most likely be booked between 3pm and 8pm any day of the week. Shifts will be 1.5 or 2 hours to meet distress experienced in the moment.
Key tasks:
The PA must be comfortable speaking up for me and helping me access services for support, such as telephone or in person mental health urgent support. They must feel able to advocate for my needs and to take charge of getting services to meet my autistic specific adaptations and needs. The only task required is to help me get my needs met and voice heard when accessing support and then afterwards to help me follow the advice given in these interactions by the professional.
No personal care, cleaning or housework are required.
Preference for those who are registered self employed.
