Autistic woman seeking an empathetic and supportive PA in Hove

I am a 39 year old woman living in a flat in Hove (right by Hove town hall) with one very sweet indoor-only elderly cat. I have autism and mental health needs and value someone very empathetic, punctual and reliable so we can show mutual respect for each other's time. I love line dancing, singing in a choir and photography and I work part time in a library.

Hours - 2 hours fixed and regular per week (on a day/time agreed to suit both of us) alongside two afternoons per week where I'd ask you be flexibly available for adhoc support if required, days to be agreed between us.

Please state in your application whether you are registered self employed and whether you are willing to work occasional evenings, not finishing later than 8pm. Please also let me know how close you are based and your availability.

Key tasks:
Most important to me is helping to advocate for me and ensure good care in medical appointments and seeking mental health support from bases in the city, this would include speaking up when I am not heard by clinicians, keeping notes and help keeping track of follow up tasks and providing support to access help with emotional overwhelm after difficult appointments.

Email, telephone and life admin

Assistance with completing journeys and collecting medication (no medication handling required)

Engaging with community and leisure time activities

Travel within the city required, but I have a car and can pay mileage and parking

No personal care, cleaning or housework required.
