Conscientious, caring PA required – part-time in a team of PAs

I am looking for a PA to join a team of carers who support my daughter (37) who lives in the family home and is autistic with associated learning/social difficulties with a view to enabling her to lead an active and independent lifestyle.

The work is mainly home based as several years ago she became agoraphobic after previously having a full and active life out in the community. PAs presently support her in a daily walk to the local park. We also try to provide a range of activities in the home such as arts and crafts, music and dance, exercises and meal preparation.

I am looking for someone enthusiastic and fun to motivate her to join in activities but at the same time, caring and sensitive to her changing moods and needs. The work would involve some personal care.

We currently have three PAs who have worked with us for many years. I am looking for somebody who is flexible and could hopefully provide some cover over the summer holidays when other carers are away on holiday with a view to having one or possibly two contracted days a week (Thursday or Tuesday) in the long term with extra hours available if wanted.
