Driving role – £15/ hour plus parking/ petrol – up to 6 hours a week and prebooked events

**Car Driver / Light Errands Role – up to 6 hours/week + ad hoc (Brighton-based)**

I’m looking for a driver for up to 6 hours a week, plus occasional ad hoc trips across Sussex.
I’m currently recovering from autistic burnout and rebuilding my mobility.

**Examples of trips:**

* Devil’s Dyke, Stanmer Park / One Garden
* Supermarket trips
* Tip runs (assisting with garden waste / decluttering)
* Other local events

**Role:**

* Driving me to and from locations
* waiting while I attend activities (no obligation to take part)
* This is **not high-level support* — it’s about providing transport and physical access while my energy is low

**Upcoming booking:**

* Hastings trip (overnight stay)
* 1st May (outbound) and 4th May (return)
* Please let me know in your reply if you’re available for these dates

**Ongoing:**

* Up to 6 hours per week (to be scheduled)
* Additional ad hoc trips as agreed

**Requirements:**

* Car Driver
* Self-employed
* Must have a UTR number (registered with HMRC)
* Willing to register with the council Direct Payments system (via Possability People) to invoice monthly
* This is not a cash-in-hand role

**Payment:**

* £15 per hour
* Petrol + parking covered (paid weekly by me)
* Any entrance fees covered

**Location:**

* Central Brighton I live in the Roundhill area
