Dynamic Personal Assistant wanted ~ Join me on my adventures!

I am a 44 year old woman who is paralysed from the chest down but fiercely independent! **I am a smoker, do not apply if you are not willing to work with smokers** Im looking for a reliable, friendly and experienced Personal Assistant to accompany me to a disabled archery activity at Sussex Wasps Disabled Archery Club, Lewes Leisure Centre.

📅 When: 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month
🕐 PA hours: 12pm–6pm — Archery is 2pm–4pm but i need support travelling & prep for 2 hours before and 2 hours after the activity
📍 Location: Whitehawk, Brighton travelling to Lewes & back

The role involves accompanying and supporting me before, during and after the club, including providing any assistance required to get there and back. I may also need support in changing clothes or putting on specialist harnesses needed for the activity. For this reason, I am only looking for a female.

I'm looking for somebody who can meet me at my home in Whitehawk so that we can get a taxi out to Lewes for the activity.

The club offers a 6-session beginner course and they may also have other active activities to introduce me to. Equipment is provided, with a £4 Leisure Centre entry fee per session which i will pay for.

I'm looking for someone who:
Is registered as self-employed with UTR number
Has previous experience providing similar support or Personal Assistant work
Can make a minimum 6-month commitment
Can consistently attend the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month
Is reliable, punctual, friendly and patient
Is comfortable supporting a disabled person at a sporting and social activity

PA insurance is needed for this role which costs approximately £98 pounds a year but I would be willing to pay for that if you can commit to a full year of activity assistance as I'm also hoping to go to a swimming club on Wednesday evenings which I'm advertising for separately but if you feel that you would be able to assist me with archery AND swimming , then all the better!!

Pay: £15.80 p/h
