ONE OFF JOB – Car + Heavy Lifting Essential £17 per hour + 60p per mile – Self Employed (NO PAYE)

I’m looking for someone practical and physically fit to help pack up belongings from a bedroom and move them to my home at another Brighton address.

Start time will be in the next few weeks. My mother is being assessed to move into a care home so it will be dependent on when she has vacated the property. She has dementia - so sensitivity and punctuality is important in this environment.

What days and times the work is completed can be flexible but is expected to take place within reasonable hours of the day. For example between 9am - 6pm. Hours will need to be agreed upon in advance.

I may not be able to be present at the other location due to my current health status so the ability to take initiative and work independently is essential.

The job will involve packing belongings into boxes/bags, lifting and carrying, and getting them safely to my house. The two homes are very close; you would be transporting from Ditchling Road to Princes Road (5 Minute Drive).

An individual with access to a car would be essential. There may be several hours of work depending on how long the packing and moving takes.
