Short-Notice PA Wanted: Digital Sorting, Light DIY & Healthy Home Help
Hi there. I’m looking to connect with a reliable, tech-savvy, and handy Personal Assistant who can step in to help me when I’m dealing with flare-ups and sickness leave. Because my health can change unexpectedly, I need someone who is flexible and available at short notice.
A bit about me and my lifestyle:
I am neurodivergent and I also live with CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome). This means my energy levels fluctuate significantly, and I experience periods of severe fatigue and brain fog where I get easily overwhelmed.
Personality-wise, I value a mindful, low-consumption lifestyle. I am very much into healthy, organic food and keeping a low-tox environment. I’m looking for someone empathetic, non-judgmental, and proactive—essentially, someone who can act as an "external brain" and take the physical and cognitive load off my shoulders when I’m crashing. Because of my lifestyle, it’s really important to me that whoever helps out is mindful of these values—especially when it comes to the food we prep or the cleaning products we use.
What the help looks like:
The tasks change depending on my energy levels and what needs doing that week, but it’s a mix of digital, household, and practical jobs:
• High-level digital sorting: This is more than just typing up notes. I need someone comfortable auditing and restructuring digital files, setting up workflows/automations, managing cloud storage, and sorting out cluttered email inboxes and calendars.
• Low-tox household care & food prep: Helping me maintain a calm, orderly home using natural, low-tox cleaning methods, and assisting with simple, healthy, organic meal prep when my energy is low.
• Light handiwork & maintenance: Being handy around the place is a massive plus. I often need small DIY jobs sorted, like putting up a shelf, doing touch-up painting, or painting the odd wall.
Who I'm looking for:
Ideally, you are someone with high digital literacy who also isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into practical, hands-on tasks. You should be a clear, direct communicator, highly trustworthy, and genuinely understanding of chronic illness, pacing, and changing energy needs. Aligning with a low-waste, healthy lifestyle is a huge bonus.
Hours & Pay:
This is ad-hoc, short-notice coverage. Pay is negotiable to reflect the mix of digital and practical skills needed.
If this sounds like a good fit for you and you have the flexibility to help out, I’d love to hear from you.
